Rent the track at Hawkeye Downs

With a long list of events over the last 100 years, Hawkeye Downs is proud to host a variety of community events on the track. This includes, but is not limited to, parades, concerts, bicycle races, movie nights, drag races, car shows, weddings, and laser light shows. The paved asphalt property offers three complete tracks, including 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, and 1/2 mile. Beyond the asphalt, there is a large pit area for parking as well as tech barn. The historic grandstands hold between 3,000 and 5,000 event attendees. Whatever special event you can imagine, the Hawkeye Downs Speedway could be the perfect place to host!

Private Track Rental Information

• Private track rental is for individuals testing vehicles; Rental only available when the schedule allows. Up to two cars allowed. Additional cars are charged again, same rates.

• Only two cars may be on the track at a time. Violations of this policy will result in immediate termination of your rental, and may prevent permission for future rentals. Rental fees will not be refunded.

• Track may only be reserved for private rentals during daylight hours.

• All appropriate waivers and paperwork must be signed by every individual on the property before a car can be on the track. Violations of this policy will result in immediate termination of your rental, and may prevent permission for future rentals. Rental fees will not be refunded.
