Dirt at the Downs: Honus Motorsports' Demo Derby
Saturday, September 20th | 5:00PM
Honus Motorsports will host five classes on the track, including Gut'n Go Compacts, Powder Puff Compacts, Youth Compacts, Weld Compacts, and Mini Vans, PLUS a special PowerWheels demo derby for kids!
Gates open at 4:00pm. Demo derby starts at 5:00pm. Tickets are available at the gate. Follow the event on Facebook.

Dirt at the Downs: IMCA Racing in partnership with Benton County Speedway
Saturday, September 27th | 6:00PM
In honor of Hawkeye Downs’ 100th year of racing, the track will host IMCA racing, including the Advantage Chassis Sport Mods, Hobby Stocks, IMCA.tv Modifieds, and Spaw Chassis Stock Cars.
Gates open at 4:00pm with tickets available at the gate or online at MyRacePass.com.

Racing at Hawkeye Downs
For the last 100 years, Hawkeye Downs Speedway has been home to one of the most popular race tracks in Iowa. The track features ¼ mile and ½ mile banked asphalt ovals for weekly stock car racing, enduros, street drags, drifting expos, and more. You can find more information about upcoming events on our Events tab or contact our team to rent the track for your next racing event.

Hosting Events at Hawkeye Downs Expo Center
From trade shows to annual meetings to auctions to weddings and beyond, the Expo Center is perfect for any event. Hawkeye Downs offers an event space with over 35,000 total square feet of temperature-controlled space for hosting events of all sizes. The Expo Center is located strategically near the highway with access to a variety of hotels and attracts over 100,000 visitors annually.
