Admission is $10 a person for general admission
$15 dollars for a pit pass Kids under 10 are free.

Drivers pre-registration is $200 for weekend pass (Cool Shirt Included). Preregistration for a single day is $100(Cool Shirt is NOT included)
If you chose not to preregister SINGLE DAY driver passes will be available at the gate for $120. Two day passes will not be offered at the gate.

FAQ
Q: I just started drifting, is this event beginner-friendly?
A: Absolutely!! Everyone has to experience their first day on track, and we’d love to help you have a good one. There are plenty of experienced drivers around to give you some pointers or even ride along with you and help point out some areas you could improve, so don’t be afraid to ask for help.
Q: Can I drift my convertible?
A: Yes but you will need at a minimum a rollover bar.
Q: Do I need a roll cage to drift on track?
A: You don’t need a full cage to participate. Cages with door bars are only required for tandem drifting unless approved by the staff. Other than that, buy your pass, bring your helmet, make sure you meet the tech requirements, and you’re good to go.
Q: What’s the layout like/how does the track time work/is there hotlapping?
A: We run two different layouts throughout the day, one in the morning, one in the afternoon. We don’t have the space for a hot lap layout, so there is a start and finish. Both layouts will be explained in the driver's meetings.
Q: Will there be a tire machine at the track?
A: Yes, there will be 2 tire techs on site.
Q: Can I get a ride a long?
A: You’re more than welcome to ask any of the drivers in the pits for a ride. Most drivers are more than happy to help someone experience their first ride in a drift car. It usually helps get you in the car if you have your own helmet for the ride.
Q: Is there food and drink at the track?
A: Yes, there are concessions on site. No grills of any kind are allowed in the pits.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Yes, keep them leashed and clean up any waste they leave behind, please.

No loose ammunition (unboxed) is allowed in the gun show.
No cameras, video recorders and/or other such devices are allowed in the gun show without prior approval by management.
No alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, or other such substances are allowed to be brought into the gun show by attendees.
TSP, Ltd. shall have the right to evict and/or arrest any gun show attendee for disorderly conduct, intoxication, or any other such actions.
All gun show attendees shall comply with all Iowa State and Federal Laws in the sale and/or purchase of firearms and related items as a condition of admission to the gun show.

Hawkeye Downs' Media Day: Car Show & Practice
It's Media Day for the 2024 racing season! Join us on Saturday, April 20th at Hawkeye Downs for our Annual Car Show and Practice.

INFORMATION FOR RACERS
In an effort to make our 2024 racing program the best it can be, we will be taking pictures on April 20th at the car show and practice. These photos will be sent to the publisher to have the program reflect current cars.
If you are in attendance for the car show, your practice session will be FREE. If you cannot attend the car show but you’re still interested in the practice, cost is $25.
Iowa BIG Truck Show "Rolling for a Reason"
Iowa BIG and Milex Complete Auto Care present the “Rolling for a Reason” Truck Show at Hawkeye Downs Speedway!
On Saturday, April 20th, Iowa BIG students welcome trucks of all shapes and sizes to join together at Hawkeye Downs Speedway for a special display of trucks. Entry for each truck is $10 to participate in the show. Admission for the general public is $5 per person. All ages are welcome. All proceeds from the event will go to Families Helping Families of Iowa.

Mark your calendar for Sunday, April 14th from 10am to 3pm for both The Midwest Antique & Art Show and The Collector’s Eye Show at Hawkeye Downs in Cedar Rapids!
The event is entering its 38th year of promotion. Maine Antique Digest describes the two shows as “Midwestern Gems” and “The Best Show west of the Allegheny Mountains.” Both shows have a history of bringing high-quality dealers with exceptional items for your perusal. Together, the two shows present a unique opportunity for both seasoned collectors and those just starting to collect.
“The two shows combined will have nearly 100 exhibitors hand selected for their expertise and knowledge of their merchandise and their ability at artistic, visually appealing presentation of their booths. Many dealers have walls put up with colored paper to allow them to present their merchandise in a formal room setting and others will present their merchandise in an equally appealing manner.
We welcome back Al Linder from Minnesota, Missouri Plain Folk from Sikeston, MO and Architectural Anarchy from Chicago, IL. and American Spirit from Shawnee Mission, KS. We also welcome Tess Pailey from Minnesota bringing an assortment of Persian rugs.
Scott Tagliapietra from Wisconsin, well-known for his holiday and toys, will be back with his usual fantastic display of merchandise.

2024 ROAD-E-O
ISOSWO is hosting its Solid-Waste Equipment Road-E-O on April 3, 2024 at Hawkeye Downs Expo Hall.
This event is to showcase the individual skills of top truck drivers, equipment operators, and mechanics who are vital to solid waste operations to demonstrate who is the best operator.
The top three contestants will receive a trophy recognizing their skills at an award ceremony. The top two place winners in each category will be eligible to compete in the SWANA International Road-E-O on October 5th, 2024, in Dublin, Georgia.
ISOSWO Road-E-O will consist of six events:
- Wheeled end loader
- Tracked dozer or loader
- Articulated truck
- Rear loader collection truck
- Side-loader collection truck
- Roll-off truck
Scoring is compiled through a written test, pre-trip inspection, and the operator’s ability to safely negotiate the course without contacting barriers and cones. Time is only a factor when there is a tie.
Volunteers will be needed to assist with set-up, registration, judging and clean-up. Volunteers registered prior to March will be provided an event t-shirt. Spectators are allowed to attend at no cost yet will be required to check in at the registration desk to sign a waiver and safety instructions. Spectators are encouraged to bring their own chairs. There will be equipment on hand for people to view and chat with sales staff to see the latest equipment. If interested in lunch, a $25 fee and be registered prior to March 27th will be required. Keep in mind the lunch fee is included with the Competition registration.

Rock, Mineral & Fossil Show 2024 Presented by Cedar Valley Rocks and Minerals Society
The Cedar Valley Rocks & Minerals Society presents its Rocks, Minerals & Fossil Show 2024 on Saturday, March 23rd from 8:30am to 6pm and Sunday, March 24th from 9:30am to 4pm at Hawkeye Downs Speedway and Expo Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The show includes exhibits, demonstrations, dealers, programs, and children's activities. Children's activities include dinosaur bones interactions, geode cracking, pebble pit play area, gold panning, and more. Other show features include a fluorescent display, special programs, and special exhibits of rocks, fossils, and gems.

$3 donation for adults over 18
$1 for students 12-18
FREE for children under 12
Youth groups with leader are FREE.

2023 Hawkeye Downs Racing Banquet

Toys for Tots Night at Shadrack's Christmas Adventure
On Saturday, December 2nd, Toys for Tots will collect donations at Hawkeye Downs in the Santa Village. Free activity and coloring books will also be available to all children in attendance.
After you and your family journey through Shadrack's Christmas Adventure drive-thru light show, stop into the Santa Village in the North Expo Hall at Hawkeye Downs to deliver your donation for Toys for Tots. The drive-thru light show begins at 6pm. Admission to the Santa Village is included in your light show ticket.
In 2023, it's estimated that Toys for Tots will be serving more than 6,400 children and families across Linn County. WE NEED YOUR HELP!! Please consider dropping off your toy donation in the Hawkeye Downs Santa Village after you visit Shadrack's Christmas Adventure this Saturday night.
We encourage you to come out and celebrate the holidays with us and Shadrack's impressive drive-thru storybook experience, then deliver your new, unwrapped toy as you enjoy a cup of hot cocoa, let the kids play in the inflatables, and stop by our selfie stations in our Santa Village supported by BGHN Associates.

After you complete the drive-thru experience, the fun isn’t over! Guests are welcome to the Hawkeye Downs Santa Village supported by BGHN Associates in the North Expo Hall. All ages will enjoy visiting Santa’s Village included with your drive-thru light show ticket. The indoor holiday experience complete with photos and visits with Santa will be available as well as crafts, activities, games, selfie stations, and more.
