All ages are welcome to this FREE community event. No ticket or registration required. Celebrate the holiday season at Hawkeye Downs for visits with Santa, crafts, activities, games, photo opportunities, and more!
Santa Village returns to Hawkeye Downs in 2024!
In 2023, Hawkeye Downs Speedway and Expo Center welcomed over 35,000 guests into the Santa Village in the North Expo Hall in Cedar Rapids. Hawkeye Downs is excited to bring the local favorite back in 2024.
Guests are invited to explore an exciting holiday-themed space filled with tons of fun for all ages! Santa Village is FREE to the public with free crafts, activities, games, selfie stations, and holiday decorations for individuals and families from across the Midwest. Santa Village, supported by Basepoint Wealth, will open on Thursday, November 28th at 6PM. Mark your calendars!
Racing at Hawkeye Downs
For nearly 100 years, Hawkeye Downs has been home to one of the most popular race tracks in Iowa. The track features ¼ mile and ½ mile banked asphalt ovals for weekly stock car racing, enduros, street drags, drifting expos, and more. Hosting Events at Hawkeye Downs Expo Center
From trade shows to annual meetings to auctions to weddings and beyond, the Expo Center is perfect for any event. Hawkeye Downs offers an event space with over 35,000 total square feet of temperature-controlled space for hosting events of all sizes. The Expo Center is located strategically near the highway with access to a variety of hotels and attracts over 100,000 visitors annually.
