NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O'Reilly Auto Parts with Big 8 Series + Iowa C.O.P.S. Night

The Big 8 Series returns to Hawkeye Downs Speedway! Join us on Saturday, July 18th, at 7:05 PM for the live, loud, and local fan-favorite racing classes, plus the Big 8 Series on the track.
Hawkeye Downs is honored to host Iowa Concerns of Police Survivors, as we go #RacingForACause! Iowa Concerns of Police Survivors (better known as C.O.P.S.) provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families and affected co-workers of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.
JOIN US FOR THE AFTER-PARTY! We’ll host LIVE MUSIC from Awed Man Out on the track.
Tickets are available at the gate or online. Gates open at 5:30PM. Races begin at 7:05PM.

NASCAR Local Racing Series + Bike Night
Friday, July 24th | 7:05PM
Join us at the track for NASCAR Local Racing Series powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts on Friday, July 24th!
It’s BIKE NIGHT presented by Hochstetler Towing! We’ll host a giveaway for bicycles at intermission for kids 12 and under. Kids will receive a ticket to enter to win their bike of choice as they enter at the front gate.
We’re excited to also welcome our friends from Chain Reaction Bike Hub to the track! Learn more about Chain Reaction Bike Hub in the grassy area as you enter the facility.
Tickets are available online or at the gate. Gates open at 6:00PM. Racing begins at 7:05PM.
Racing at Hawkeye Downs
For the last 100 years, Hawkeye Downs Speedway has been home to one of the most popular race tracks in Iowa. The track features ¼ mile and ½ mile banked asphalt ovals for weekly stock car racing, enduros, street drags, drifting expos, and more. Hosting Events at Hawkeye Downs Expo Center
From trade shows to annual meetings to auctions to weddings and beyond, the Expo Center is perfect for any event. Hawkeye Downs offers an event space with over 35,000 total square feet of temperature-controlled space for hosting events of all sizes. The Expo Center is located strategically near the highway with access to a variety of hotels and attracts over 100,000 visitors annually.
