Join us at the track for NASCAR Local Racing Series powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts on Friday, July 31st!
It’s Wall of Fame Night presented by Cassill Motors! Join us as we host the induction presentations being held on the start-finish line during the race intermission. The Hawkeye Downs Wall of Fame is proud to announce the following as our new inductees into the Class of 2026. Morris “Beetle” Bailey (photographer), Kyle Ealy (media, racing historian), Bob Hodges (driver, track official), Gus Hughes (driver), Frank Richard Sorci (driver).
Tickets are available online or at the gate. Gates open at 6:00PM. Racing begins at 7:05PM.

Tuesday Night Titans
Tuesday, August 4th | 7:05PM
Support the next generation of racing! Make plans to attend Tuesday Night Titans racing on Tuesday, August 4th. WE WANT RACE FANS IN THE STANDS!
Racing will feature Go-Karts, including Rookie, Kid Karts, Jr. 1, Jr. 2, Champ, Clone Heavy, 206 Sprint (oval), Semi Pro Clone, BP Cage Karts, Rookie Red Plate, R-Box Cage, and Predator Kart, and Juice Box classes.
Tickets are available at the gate or online. Gates open at 6:00PM. Races begin at 7:05PM.

NASCAR Local Racing Series + Backpack Night
WEDNESDAY, August 5th | 7:05PM
It’s NASCAR week in Iowa, so we’re racing on a Wednesday night! 🏁 Join us at Hawkeye Downs Speedway on Wednesday, August 5th, at 7:05 PM as part of the NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts!
Our special Wednesday night race will be our kid-favorite BACKPACK NIGHT! Kiddos 12 and under will be eligible to win a backpack full of FREE SCHOOL SUPPLIES.
Tickets are available online or at the gate. Gates open at 6:00PM. Racing begins at 7:05PM.
Racing at Hawkeye Downs
For the last 100 years, Hawkeye Downs Speedway has been home to one of the most popular race tracks in Iowa. The track features ¼ mile and ½ mile banked asphalt ovals for weekly stock car racing, enduros, street drags, drifting expos, and more. Hosting Events at Hawkeye Downs Expo Center
From trade shows to annual meetings to auctions to weddings and beyond, the Expo Center is perfect for any event. Hawkeye Downs offers an event space with over 35,000 total square feet of temperature-controlled space for hosting events of all sizes. The Expo Center is located strategically near the highway with access to a variety of hotels and attracts over 100,000 visitors annually.
