Join us at the track for one of the most celebrated racing traditions, the Miller 100, on Saturday, July 11, 2026, presented by Keg 1 Iowa and featuring the high-powered competition of the ASA Midwest Tour!
Our NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts lineup includes the Sunline Hornets, All Seasons Automotive Sportsmans, Cassill Motors Sport Mods, and the HD Dawgs. These classes will race for points, with the ASA Midwest Tour bringing 100 laps of fierce competition to the track.
Tickets are available online or at the gate. Gates open at 3:30PM. Racing begins at 7:05PM.

NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O'Reilly Auto Parts with Big 8 Series + Iowa C.O.P.S. Night

The Big 8 Series returns to Hawkeye Downs Speedway! Join us on Saturday, July 18th, at 7:05 PM for the live, loud, and local fan-favorite racing classes, plus the Big 8 Series on the track.
Hawkeye Downs is honored to host Iowa Concerns of Police Survivors, as we go #RacingForACause! Iowa Concerns of Police Survivors (better known as C.O.P.S.) provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families and affected co-workers of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.
Tickets are available at the gate or online. Gates open at 3:30PM. Races begin at 7:05PM.
Racing at Hawkeye Downs
For the last 100 years, Hawkeye Downs Speedway has been home to one of the most popular race tracks in Iowa. The track features ¼ mile and ½ mile banked asphalt ovals for weekly stock car racing, enduros, street drags, drifting expos, and more. Hosting Events at Hawkeye Downs Expo Center
From trade shows to annual meetings to auctions to weddings and beyond, the Expo Center is perfect for any event. Hawkeye Downs offers an event space with over 35,000 total square feet of temperature-controlled space for hosting events of all sizes. The Expo Center is located strategically near the highway with access to a variety of hotels and attracts over 100,000 visitors annually.
