Tuesday Night Titans
Tuesday, August 18th | 7:05PM
Racing will feature Go-Karts, including Rookie, Kid Karts, Jr. 1, Jr. 2, Champ, Clone Heavy, 206 Sprint (oval), Semi Pro Clone, BP Cage Karts, Rookie Red Plate, R-Box Cage, Predator Kart, and Juice Box racing classes.
This will be the final Tuesday Night Titans program in 2026. Help us pack the stands and show support for our racers!
Tickets are available online or at the gate. Gates open at 6:00PM. Racing begins at 7:05PM.

CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT: NASCAR Local Racing Series with Post-Race Party on the Track

You’re invited to join us to celebrate the season championship night THIS FRIDAY, August 21st, at 7:05 PM! The night’s racing program is part of the NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts.
With the end of the season comes the end of an era as Hawkeye Downs ends its full-time operations as a weekly NASCAR-sanctioned track. Fans can expect free LED wands for the first 100 kids through the date, a chance to win Iowa Wild tickets, and a post-race party on the track to celebrate our drivers’ season.

Boneshaker Shutdown Car Show & Vintage Drags
Saturday, August 22nd | 9:00AM to 3:00PM
Take a trip into the past and see how automobile racing got its start! 1953 and older cars with 1953 and older engines from across the Midwest competing against each other on the front stretch of Hawkeye Downs. A car show / cruise-in for all cars and motorcycles is also part of this special event.

Midwest Shredfest Asphalt Apocalypse
Saturday, August 29th & Sunday, August 30th
Midwest Shredfest is dropping a whole weekend of nonstop drift madness—smoke clouds, screaming engines, and side-by-side chaos you can feel in your chest!
Grab the family, grab your crew, and if you’ve got a helmet… you might score a ride-along right in the action! A pit pass is required.

Racing at Hawkeye Downs
For the last 100 years, Hawkeye Downs Speedway has been home to one of the most popular race tracks in Iowa. The track features ¼ mile and ½ mile banked asphalt ovals for weekly stock car racing, enduros, street drags, drifting expos, and more. Hosting Events at Hawkeye Downs Expo Center
From trade shows to annual meetings to auctions to weddings and beyond, the Expo Center is perfect for any event. Hawkeye Downs offers an event space with over 35,000 total square feet of temperature-controlled space for hosting events of all sizes. The Expo Center is located strategically near the highway with access to a variety of hotels and attracts over 100,000 visitors annually.
