About Weekly Racing on Friday Nights at Hawkeye Downs
Hawkeye Downs Speedway is home to one of two asphalt racetracks in the state of Iowa. Every May through August, you can hear the roar of race engines almost every weekend.
Racers are welcome in the pits beginning at 4:30pm with gates open to the public at 6:00pm. Drivers meeting is held at 6:25pm.
Hot laps begin at 6:40pm. Opening ceremonies are hosted at 7:00pm, with the races starting at 7:05pm.
NOTE: Some scheduled races in 2026 have varying start times. Please visit our Event Calendar to verify start times and lineup information.
Ticket Information
Tickets are available at the front gate. Cash or card is accepted. Please note that some races may reflect specialty ticket pricing.
Adults (18-59) $15 | Youth (9-17) $10 | Seniors (60+) $10 | Veterans $10 | Children 8 & Under FREE (with paid adult)
Pit Passes

Tuesday Night Titans Racing features Go-Karts, including Rookie, Kid Karts, Jr. 1, Jr. 2, Champ, Adult Clone, and 206 Sprint (oval) classes, Bandoleros, and Young Lion Legends.
Racers of all ages are welcome to join.
