Racing will feature Go-Karts, including Rookie, Kid Karts, Jr. 1, Jr. 2, Champ, Adult Clone, and 206 Sprint (oval) classes. In 2026, Hawkeye Downs will also host Juice Box racing on Tuesday nights! Racers of all ages are welcome to join.

The Tuesday Night Titans Racing program is an opportunity to invite all first-time racers and youth in the area who are interested in the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of racing as an individual and learn how to build a team with trust as they venture into their long-term racing journey. Racing is an underutilized recreational program in Eastern Iowa, and Hawkeye Downs Speedway, its staff, and its volunteers are passionate about growing this opportunity for youth in the area.

2nd Annual Boneshaker Shutdown Vintage Drags & Car Show
Take a trip into the past and see how automobile racing got its start. 1953 and older cars with 1953 and older engines from across the Midwest competing against each other on the front stretch of Hawkeye Downs. A car show / cruise-in for all cars and motorcycles is also part of this special event.

General admission tickets are only $5
All years and manufacturers of cars and motorcycles are welcome to participate in the cruise-in. There will be a special parking area for vehicles with flathead and banger engines. The $5 general admission gives you access to the car show / cruise-in and also includes access to the grandstand to watch the races on the track.
Admission for drag racers is $30 per driver and additional pit passes for your crew are $20 each
Race Cars must be 1953 and older, and have 1953 and older engines.

Hawkeye Downs is honored to host Iowa Concerns of Police Survivors, as we go #RacingForACause! Iowa Concerns of Police Survivors (better known as C.O.P.S.) provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families and affected co-workers of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty, as determined by Federal criteria. Iowa C.O.P.S. provides training to law enforcement agencies on survivor victimization issues and educates the public on the need to provide ongoing support to the law enforcement profession and its survivors.

Saturday Night NASCAR Weekly Racing
Due to race conflicts in the region, the tough decision was made to cancel the ASA Midwest Tour appearance in the Miller 100 at Hawkeye Downs Speedway this Saturday, July 11th.
With jam-packed race schedules for the remainder of this year's racing season, we will not be able to reschedule the ASA Midwest Tour visit in 2026. We look forward to hosting the ASA Midwest Tour at Hawkeye Downs Speedway for the Miller 100 in 2027.

The Mid-Am Racing Series returns to Hawkeye Downs for “The Hawkeye Clash” on June 13, and if history tells us anything, expect fireworks.
Fans have seen it all at Hawkeye Downs: three-wide battles, door-to-door racing, and photo-finish moments that keep everyone on the edge of their seats. Last year, the action got so intense that one car even ended up outside the ballpark.

WHAT IS ENDURO RACING?
Enduro racing (also known as endurance racing) is a very popular and inexpensive type of racing that is fun for anyone! The race starts with a short warm-up lap, and then drivers complete timed laps around the track. Enduro races are much longer, as they often last several hours.
These races are designed on our asphalt track at Hawkeye Downs. In recent years, our racing team has designed a road course with obstacles ranging from small jumps to high-speed corners, making it perfect for enthusiasts of all levels of driving skill. 4th Annual Car Show With A Cause
Join us for the Alex Prochaska Memorial Project's 4th Annual Car Show with a Cause at Hawkeye Downs Speedway!
It’s a perfect day for car lovers to gather and admire classic vintage and other amazing rides with trophies for the top 50. Enjoy tasty bites from food trucks and cool off with some ice cream. There will be fun games and door prizes plus a raffle for some great goodies.
Come share stories and celebrate the love of cars with friends and family! All cars are welcome! $20 Registration Fee.
Proceeds from this event go towards a scholarship fund at Kirkwood Community College. The scholarship supports hard-working students pursuing a career in the trades.

As the Big 8 Series is a traveling series, we have to respect the racers’ time and financial commitment to the racing program. Cedar Rapids Night Meet
The Cedar Rapids Night Meets are back and on the track! Join more than 600 badass cars, trucks, and bikes as we take over the track at Hawkeye Downs Speedway on Friday, April 24th. This event is brought to you by Brown's Ford in West Branch and is open to all makes and models.
Staging begins at 5:00pm and gates open at 6:00pm so get out early to secure the best spot. It is only $10 to park on the track! You know the drill, arrive together, park together, no saving spots.

WHAT IS ENDURO RACING?
Enduro racing (also known as endurance racing) is a very popular and inexpensive type of racing that is fun for anyone! The race starts with a short warm-up lap, and then drivers complete timed laps around the track. Enduro races are much longer, as they often last several hours.
These races are designed on our asphalt track at Hawkeye Downs. In recent years, our racing team has designed a road course with obstacles ranging from small jumps to high-speed corners, making it perfect for enthusiasts of all levels of driving skill.
