100th Year of Racing Celebration Recap
Thank you to everyone who came out to support our staff, volunteers, and our track for our 100 Years of Racing: Start Your Engines! Kick-Off to Racing Season Celebration this weekend!
Hawkeye Downs hosted its ribbon cutting in Victory Lane on the track with staff, volunteers, fans, and friends of the track present. Race cars were displayed on the track until noon before they hit the track for “Test and Tune” practice laps. Volunteers also hosted a kids zone and served cake to celebrate the 100th year of racing at Hawkeye Downs.
The 2025 racing season begins on Sunday, April 27th, with the first NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series race of the year. Tickets are available on MyRacePass or at the gate. Gates open at 1:00pm with racing to begin at 2:05pm.
