Annual Backpack giveaway 2024 at Hawkeye Downs Speedway

We are excited to announce that Friday, July 19th, is our annual backpack giveaway for kids at Hawkeye Downs Speedway!

Bring the kids to the track on Friday, July 19th, for a chance to win a FREE backpack stuffed with school supplies at NASCAR Weekly Racing, Sponsored by Mt. Vernon Road Tire and Marion Tire!

WE NEED YOUR HELP! If you’re interested in donating to our backpack giveaway, there are a few ways to donate:

1. Bring your donations to the HD office

2. Bring your donations to pit #25 during Friday night races

We are seeking donations through Monday, July 15th. Below is a list of the suggested donation items. Any brand and quantity is welcome.

• Notebooks

• Loose leaf paper

• Pencils

• Crayons

• Glue bottles/sticks

• Pencil boxes

• Folders

• Safety scissors

• Markers
