(Cedar Rapids, IA) – Hawkeye Downs Speedway is honored to announce its racing schedule for the 2025 racing season. This season will be the 100th year of racing at Hawkeye Downs Speedway in Eastern Iowa.

“It’s been an incredible journey to grow the racing program these last few years,” said Brian Gibson, race director for Hawkeye Downs. “It’s even more impressive to recognize that we’re celebrating 100 years of racing tradition in Cedar Rapids. Hawkeye Downs has such a rich history with thousands of racers, fans, and community supporters over the years, and we’re excited to celebrate that every week we’re at the track this year.”

The 2025 racing schedule is live on the Hawkeye Downs website and includes 16 races as part of the NASCAR Regional racing program. There are currently four enduro races scheduled in the upcoming season. Media Day will be held on Saturday, April 19th, 2025. Visiting racing series this year include the Midwest Truck Series, Sprint Series, A.I.R.S. Vintage Racing Series, Big 8 Late Models Series, MidAm Series, and the ASA Midwest Tour. Additionally, Hawkeye Downs will host other racing events for community groups, including Patriot Promotions’ Street Drags, Midwest Shredfest drifting events, and more.
