Weather Update: Santa Village CLOSED on Saturday, December 14th

WINTER WEATHER UPDATE 2:15PM ON 12/14/24

Due to severe winter weather, we will be CANCELLING Santa Village tonight (Saturday, December 14th). We will re-open tomorrow, Sunday, December 15th at 6pm.

Saturday Live Music at Santa Village with Spencer Ammons Music will be rescheduled for SUNDAY, December 22nd. The special appearance by Lilly Luft with Honor And Respect LLC will also be rescheduled (TBA).

Here are the facts...

• The US National Weather Service Quad Cities Iowa/Illinois has extended the ice storm warning now until 6pm for Linn County.

• The Cedar Rapids Police Department has reported poor road conditions across much of the area, and as the ice transitions to rain tonight, the roads will remain treacherous.

• WE WANT YOU, OUR STAFF, AND OUR VOLUNTEERS SAFE! Please stay home and stay safe tonight. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow night (Sunday, December 15th) for Santa Village at Hawkeye Downs from 6-9pm!
