Welcome youth drivers and new drivers to racing at Hawkeye Downs Speedway!

In 2024, Hawkeye Downs Speedway is welcoming all individuals interested in starting their racing journey to the track for special Tuesday Night Racing. Racing will feature Go-Karts, Bandoleros, and Young Lion Legends. Racers 5 to 55+ are welcome to join us!

Tickets are available at the front gate. Cash or card is accepted.

Pit pass $30 per person

Registration

Registration at the pit gate on the night of the event.

Adult and competitor pit passes $30 (includes trophy class entry fee)
Transponder rental $15
Adult money class $10
Youth (non-participant, ages 6-17) $20
Youth (non-participant, ages 0-5) FREE

  • For Go Karts, please visit Rieken’s Racing website to contact and and make an appointment.

    For Legends and Bandoleros, please visit Legends.Direct online to contact them for more information.

  • All drivers are responsible for obtaining their own safety gear. Rieken’s Racing and Legends.Direct can both assist with this.

  • Bandolero and Go Karts racers should be seven years old and older (as of January 1, 2024).

    Legends racers should be ages 10-15 for this racing program.

  • The pits will open to drivers and crew at 4:30pm. Drivers meeting will be held in the tech barn at 6:15pm. Hot laps will begin on the track at 6:30pm. Opening ceremonies will be at 7:00pm with racing to follow.

    Lineup for the races will be in this order: Kids Karts, Jr 1 and 2 clones, Adult clones, Champ karts, Young Lion Legends (ages 0-15), and Bandoleros (INEX rules).

  • We are seeking fans in the stands and sponsors for this racing program!

    Tickets are available at the front gate for fans to join us in the grandstands and cheer on these new racers.
